Your certificate is certified by CAHO

Recognised by accredited hospitals across India

The Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisations (CAHO) is the body Indian hospitals turn to for quality and accreditation training. And when you apply for the ICN post at a bigger hospital, a CAHO-certified certificate is recognised across the country.

It fits around a working week

Two hours a week, on the ward you already work.

  • Two hours a week

Thirty to forty-five minutes of lessons, then an hour on your own ward.

  • One chapter at a time

A new chapter opens each week. Miss one and it waits for you.

  • No study leave needed

The ward tasks are done during shifts you are already working.

What you will be able to do by the end of the course

Things you can do on your own ward.

  • Walk any ward in your hospital and name what is going to cause the next infection

  • Calculate device-associated infection rates correctly and present them to a committee without being criticised

  • Decide patient placement and isolation when there is one side-room and three patients who need it

  • Write and run an outbreak response instead of improvising one

  • Manage a needlestick exposure from the moment it is reported to the last serology

  • Answer NABH 6th edition IPC objective elements with your own evidence in your hand

  • Write next year's infection control plan, with an audit calendar attached
